The Ergonomic Assessment Experience

The Ergonomic Assessment process will begin with an initial preparation meeting with key decision-makers. Together, we will identify the largest areas of opportunities and create a time line to assess the department(s) and individual work flow. Once we have established the target areas of opportunity, assessments can then begin.

The Assessment experience will include an in-depth analysis of the working environment and all of its interactive components ranging from office furniture, lighting, air quality, material handling tasks, and more. For post-assessment analysis purposes, video and/or photographs may be taken of employees job responsibilities being performed in action.

After the Assessment has been conducted, the Ergonomic Specialist will review all material collection and prepare a detailed synopsis of the findings, including recommendations for environment modifications. The recommendations can be prepared according to the organizations budget. The synopsis is then presented to the organizations leadership with clear instruction on modifications and employee involvement.

Pricing for Ergonomic Assessments vary depending on company goals, size, and industry. Please call us to inquire about how SOS Physical Therapy, and our Ergonomic Specialist can help make your work environment a safer place for your employees!

Why Ergonomic Assessments?

Ergonomics is crucial for material handling or in an office setting. When you are performing a job and your body is stressed by an awkward posture, extreme temperature, or repetitive moment, your musculoskeletal system is affected. Your body may begin to have symptoms of fatigue, discomfort and pain, which are the first signs of a musculoskeletal disorder.
